Compassion Vancouver East By The Numbers?

photo-1Thank you to the 400+ volunteers that helped out this last Saturday.  To view or add some pics of the event, checkout the Facebook page at http://facebook.com/compassionvancouver.  We would also welcome to hear some stories about your interactions with the guests.  Feel free to post those on the Facebook page as well.

We have some stats for you. These stats comes with a warning. As we look at these statistics, let's remember that this is not THE measure of success. The true measure of success is probably untrackable, since the true measure of success is the relationships built over time. We will do our best to connect you to the opportunities, but from here on out, it's on you to connect with the guests nearest you.
photo2So here we go; There were 186 people in dental ( including 46 surgical extractions and 3 root canals ), 127 people helped in medical ( including 50 chiropractic appointments and 11 foot care appointments ), 80 facials and 50+ haircuts done, 12 resumes, 57 family photos taken, over 25 social service tables, 190 kids in the kids zone, 8 clowns, over 1000 people fed lunch, 48 guests that said they would be open to being invited over to a volunteers home for dinner, 27 that said they would be open to being invited to a volunteers home so the guest can use the volunteers laundry facilities, and 1,000's of conversations sharing the love and compassion of God.

If you would like to be a part of connecting with guests, please let use know by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We could use some people to deliver the family photos, complete specific tasks that guests need help with around their home, invite guests over to your home for dinner or to do their laundry, and much more. Let us know.
