Food Team

The Food Team’s goal will be to nourish the spiritual well-being of our guests through the provision of a free meal during the event. This team will recruit both churches and volunteers for the day of the event, as well as seek donations of the food items needed. They will also be working to provide entertainment (music) during the meal time.

Objectives:

  • Recruit churches and volunteers that will best represent the ethnic diversity of Vancouver
  • Coordinate equipment needs with the Facilities Management Team
  • Recruit and coordinate food bank/food boxes for guests in need.
  • Recruit musicians and schedule bands.

Planning Meeting Dates

Here are the dates and times that you may want to know about for the event in September. 

The following dates is for the planning team only and not for the general volunteers.  All meetings are at the Go Connect office at 1400 NE 136th Ave, 98684 at 10am to 11:30am.
